In Memory of Carmel

Lily's 12th birthday is today. We were planning on celebrating by taking her to the park, but the 100 degree heat wave in St. Louis might have something to say about that...


My good friend Laura used to make a hat for her beagle every year for her birthday. I thought we should carry out Laura's tradition in memory of Carmel this year.  Here's to you, Carmel! And Happy Birthday to my pup, who will be traveling back to my parent's house (her permanent home) this weekend.
