There are really very few tv shows that cross my path that I think are actually worth watching. Not just those shows that I watch because the couch is comfy and there's nothing else on... I'm talking quality tv here.
Lost and Six Feet Under are probably still at the very top of my list. Then there's a few like How I Met Your Mother, American Dreams, Freaks and Geeks, ER, and The Office that float somewhere beneath the top two, among others that I won't mention in favor of keeping the list short. Note how five of the seven shows I listed are no longer on air... this has caused much trouble for me in the past, and we're talking tears here people. Tears. Over television shows ending. (To be fair I only actually got to the point of crying for one of the above, but thankfully I had a very understanding roommate at the time who gave me a hug and told me everything would be alright. Any guesses as to which show I shed tears over?) Unfortunately for me, those remaining two shows seem to be headed in the same direction.
Enter Dexter. Sean and I started watching from the beginning after the Lost series finale last year, and we've made it as far as season three. Crossing my fingers that Netflix will soon add seasons 4-6 to their streaming lineup. I promise not to spoil anything for you, but if you check out these awesome posters below, you might get a little insight:
I'm sure that Ty Mattson is not new to many of you, as these posters have been all over the bloggin' world for quite some time now. Just in case his work is new to you, all of the above posters and more are available through ABC and Showtime websites. What shows can you not live without?
TV choices really depend on your age and beliefs. Do you want to be informed, educated, entertained, thought provoked, or just "veg out" with something really stupid.
