If you hear your cat meowing, but can't figure out where he is... I suggest looking in the fridge.
This was at my old apartment... Nelson somehow snuck into the fridge while I was making dinner and got stuck when the door shut.
And yes, when I opened the door to find him there after searching my whole apartment for the meowing, I closed the door and ran to grab my camera before pulling him out.
I've found Ava in my fridge before as well, however her hiding spot of choice is the linen closet in my bed room.
